Readings

The Episcopal Church no longer follows the lectionary in the Book of Common Prayer for Sunday services.  Instead, the Revised Common Lectionary is used, a lectionary of Bible readings in use by the Episcopal and Lutheran Churches.

A daily lectionary can be found in the Book of Common Prayer, and all the readings for Sundays and weekdays are listed in the quarterly publication Day by Day, a daily devotional from Forward Movement.

The Lectionary Page is a collection of Lectionary resources for the Episcopal Church, inclucing Sunday and Daily Bible readings with direct links to the Oremus Bible Browser.

Prayers

The Book of Common Prayer contains prayers and liturgies for all occaeions, though it can be difficult to navigate through at first.  It may be easier (and more enjoyable) to use a pamphlet or devotional booklet mentioned in the "Devotionals" section.

The Mission of St. Clare has an attractive website that will guide you through the Daily Office (morning and evening prayer) Noonday prayer, Compline, and Daily Devotions for Families and Individuals as outlined in the Book of Common Prayer.
